About ENS/ESI
Once a deposit is place you'll be part of the current litter group page on Facebook. That is where I'll share photos, videos and live videos. In this group I will preform early neurological simulation and early scent introduction from days 3-16. These simple exercises help aid the puppies development, resilience and coping mechanisms. Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), which involves applying gentle stressors to a very young puppy for short periods of time, is thought to improve their stress responses later in life. Early scent introduction (ESI) is a training program for puppies designed to enhance their ability to identify, and react to, specific scents. I record the reaction to each puppy.
As the puppies grow I introduce different objects, loud sounds, textures and movement. I also like to introduce them to birds at a very early age as it helps show which will have the most bird drive as the puppy grows. Puppies are also introduced to puppy pads and puppy litter boxes to help them go potty in one area. This method helps when it comes to potty training in their new homes.
